Adult Jiu-Jitsu Basics
Our Jiu Jitsu Basics program is specifically designed with two things in min; the complete beginner in martial arts and the student looking for effective and efficient self-defense. We have taken the complex system of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and broken it down into easy-to-learn lessons. These lessons follow a strict curriculum that helps you progress easily and smoothly. Starting with basic positions and concepts and then working toward the self-defense scenarios you are most likely to face in the real world. This class is easy, fun, and informative for the brand-new student and a great course for refreshing the seasoned Jiu-Jitsu practitioner as well.
Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
The best place for you to advance your learning and take your skills to the next level. After learning the foundations in our basics program, you will have the opportunity to attend some of our all levels of classes. These classes are designed to advance both your conceptual and physical proficiency in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Open to students of virtually all levels, this is where you will be introduced to sparring and active training. We focus on the finer details in the techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and also introduce you to the world of Jiu-Jitsu as a sport. This class is used in conjunction with our basics program to give you the skills needed to acquire the level of blue belt and beyond.
Women’s self-defense class
This program teaches how to neutralize and defend against common attacks specifically against women. Self-defense helps women protect themselves and their families, builds confidence, and strengthens self-worth. While men are touted as the stronger sex, Jiu-Jitsu is a small man’s sport. Meaning, even though, on average women are smaller and not as strong, this discipline helps women use their opponent’s mechanics against them, such as their height, weight, and even strength.
